Miss Accomplished Oregon participated in the 5th Annual Collaborative Day of College Service. It's said to be the largest gathering of college students on MLK Day in the nation with 1,000 students form 11 Portland area colleges and universities participating. she started her morning with a pep really, then everyone spread out and went to different schools within the city. Once they were at the schools, half of their time was spent picking up trash on school grounds and in the community. The other half of the day was spent writing litters to high school students about their college experience and making packets for those students letting them know that college is possible no matter there situation.
